Many Fold Farm is looking for the right person to join our team! We have an opening for a full-time position as assistant cheese maker for the 2013 milking season. This is a paid position that begins around January 15 and ends around September 15 with the possibility of continuing on into 2014.
We will be reviewing resumes and conducting interviews October-November 2012.
No cheese making experience required, but a willingness to learn, strong interest in cheese, an ability to pay close attention to detail, and a consistent demeanor of professionalism and kindness are required. Some professional culinary experience is preferred, but not required.
Those who cannot commit to long hours and hard, detail-oriented work need not apply.

I think I have farming in my blood, just never had the chance, don’t even know where to begin but I love the thought of working with you on your farm! Since I am just over an hour away, it isn’t feasible for me to work every day. I would like to come learn!! Have had my share of animals, small garden etc…….. so I am not completely clueless. Never killed anything- (I AM clueless), so don’t look for me today!! Please keep me in mind, I really want to learn.

I would love to bring my homeschooled children to a local farm to see how cheese is made. We are learning about where food REALLY comes from, and I am very interested in your farm. Please let me know if you would be willing to let us visit your farm. The boiys are 10 and 8 and we would be willing to do any light work to volunteer when we are there.
